WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One semi-truck driver is dead and another was hospitalized after a crash on I-43 northbound just south of Highway 164 in the Village of Big Bend early Thursday, May 21, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.
The crash was reported around 6:06 a.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates one semi rear-ended the other. The driver who was struck was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Northbound I-43 remained closed for an extended period for investigation and cleanup. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
