Man accidentally shoots himself, and woman he is with

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- A 27-year-old man is in custody after accidentally shooting himself and wounding the woman he was with Friday.   According to the Milwaukee Police, around 4:40 PM, a 58-year-old woman walked into a local hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.    About five minutes later the 27-year-old man walked into a hospital also seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.   Both got to the hospital with the help of friends.  The wounds they received are considered non-life threatening. 

As the MPD investigated both shootings, they determined that the man and woman were together when the man accidentally discharged a firearm, shooting himself.   The bullet passed through the man and struck the woman.   The man was arrested by the MPD in connection with the shooting.
