DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man was arrested after Dodge County deputies say they discovered a suspected drug lab while responding to a domestic disturbance in the town of Portland.

Deputies responded Sunday, April 13 at around 4:34 p.m. and later requested assistance from the Dodge County Drug Task Force and Wisconsin’s Clandestine Laboratory Response Team.

The next day, investigators executed a search warrant and recovered chemicals, laboratory equipment and suspected controlled substances. Daniel G. Buretta, a 40-year-old man from Portland, was taken into custody later that day on six drug and domestic-related charges.

Officials said the scene is now safe and that the area is of no risk to the public.
