Glendale man charged with reckless homicide in fatal shooting of 31-year-old

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Glendale man is facing a homicide charge after a deadly shooting May 18, on N. Iroquois Avenue.

Thirty-four-year-old John Sweeney faces one count of first degree reckless homicide in connection to 31-year-old Andrew Martin's death. 

According to court documents, Sweeney claims he shot Martin seven times in self-defense, telling investigators he was attacked during an argument. 

Martin was pronounced dead at the scene, 

Sweeney's bond is set at $125,000. 

He'll be back in court Friday, May 30.
