KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man found guilty of setting his girlfriend on fire in Salem Lakes back in 2023 has learned his fate.
In court on Thursday, Sept. 4, a judge sentenced 38-year-old Myron Bowie to 70 years in prison.
Authorities say Bowie got into an argument with the victim and said he would kill her, her children and her whole family before setting her on fire and driving away.
Following the incident, Bowie went on the run and was eventually apprehended in Chicago.
