Man sentenced 35 years in prison for shooting and killing 13-year-old

Milwaukee County Sheriff\'s Office MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was sentenced to 35 years in prison for shooting and killing a 13-year-old in 2023. He was sentenced on Friday, Jan. 31.
Nineteen-year-old Lazarus L. McAdoo was charged with 1st degree reckless homicide after 13-year-old Jamarri Paige was shot and killed near 47th and Fiebrantz in February of 2023.
Paige was allegedly getting ready for dinner when shots rang out from outside the home.
McAdoo pled guilty to the homicide charge in September, court documents show.
