Man with warrant for burglary arrested after using ladder to hide underneath Hoan Bridge deck
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office arrested a man who was hiding from deputies on the Hoan Bridge.
Deputies responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on the southbound side of the Hoan Bridge around 3 p.m. on Saturday.
When deputies arrived on scene, the pedestrian started to walk away from deputies and run across all lanes of traffic.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the pedestrian then jumped the median barrier wall to the northbound side. While running northbound, the pedestrian climbed over the ledge onto a maintenance ladder before climbing down and hiding underneath the bridge deck.
Deputies located the man and he was identified as Richard Fisher.
Fisher had an active warrant for burglary.
He was taken into custody and is now charged with obstructing an officer.
