(MILWAUKEE) - Parenting is both the toughest and rewarding job you'll ever have. Often times, taking care of yourself while raising a child is an afterthought, especially if your child has special needs.
Now, an associate professor at Marquette University is studying how reducing stress on parents might impact the lives of their children. Dr. Norah Johnson leads an interdisciplinary team of campus researchers doing a study on parent’s well-being, both physical and psychologically.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning Amanda Porterfield explores the ways relieving stress for parents can lead to good things for their children.
