MCTS: Child injured in crash involving bus near 27th and Vliet

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A child under the age of 18 was injured in a crash involving a Milwaukee County Transit System bus Friday, May 22.

According to MCTS, it happened around 4:45 p.m. near 27th and Vliet. 

Officials say the bus was parked on the corner when a car ran a red light and hit a second car. The second car was pushed into the front of the bus.

The Milwaukee Fire Department says a child inside one of the cars was injured and taken to Children's Wisconsin. 

There were no injuries on the bus.
