SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman fatally shot inside a Shorewood home, as 41-year-old Tashika Scott-Dixon.
The man police suspect to be the shooter turned a gun on himself; he was identified as 44-year-old Rico Dixon.

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead, and another hurt inside a home in Shorewood early Thursday, July 6.
Police responded to E. Lake Bluff and N. Murray Ave around 4:30 a.m., police located two women who were victims of a shooting. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was taken to a hospital for treatment. She is expected to survive her injuries.
Around 5 a.m., Shorewood police say the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a man dead inside a car in Lincoln Park, he died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police believe this man is the suspect in the fatal shooting.
Police say there is no threat to the public. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact Shorewood police at (414) 847-2610.
The Shorewood Police Department is being assisted by MCSO and the Department of Justice-Department of Criminal Investigation in this on-going investigation.
