Mequon Fire Department divers rescue driver from Milwaukee River

MEQUON, Wis (CBS 58) -- Early Sunday morning, the Mequon Fire Department (MFD) responded to a report of a car driven into the Milwaukee River.

Officials say that one patient was evaluated at the scene by MFD’s paramedics.

Members of MFD’s dive rescue team plunged into the Milwaukee River to search the vehicle and secure a tow strap for extrication from the water.
