Nonprofit Next 18 hosts annual Memorial Classic golf outing
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Micah Parsons says he's going to work hard every day to prove the Green Bay Packers made the right decision.
That starts tomorrow with his first practice in Green Bay. Parsons called the last four months without football 'the hardest of his life,' adding that you'll never find someone more competitive than him.
He'll need to get to work right away returning from a minor back injury and trying to get up to game speed by next Sunday's opener.
"You know I think I can contribute a lot. I'm going to team up with the doctors and create a plan. We already talked about how we can ramp things up and get me into a flow where they feel comfortable and I feel comfortable," said Parsons. "My plan is to be here. They didn't give up what they gave up for me to sit on the sideline. I feel like I can take my next step and continue to have a great legacy here."
