Midwest Gaming Classic returns to Milwaukee with expanded lineup 🕹️

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Midwest Gaming Classic, billed as the largest retro gaming event in the country, will return to Milwaukee from April 4-6 at the Baird Center.
Organizers say the event will feature more than 350,000 square feet of gaming, including pinball, arcade, console, tabletop and collectible card games, with more than 30,000 attendees expected, including visitors from Japan, South Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain.
The Midwest Gaming Classic features a showcase of gaming exhibits, live entertainment, esports competitions, cosplay contests and vendor displays. An expanded tabletop section, a speedcubing tournament and celebrity appearances from industry figures such as Christopher Sean and Activision creators are among this year’s additions, according to organizers.
The event opens with a preview night Friday, April 4 from 6 p.m. to midnight, followed by the full show Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Family Day takes place Sunday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
