MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Admirals will honor the best player on their team Friday night, Feb. 21.
Darren Haydar led the Admirals to their only championship. They won the Calder Cup in 2004
Haydar is back in town and tonight, the Ads will retire his number 20 jersey at their game against the Chicago Wolves.
"You remember the ones you win with and not so much the ones you lose with, " said Haydar. "So for me, winning that Calder Cup here in Milwaukee is something special and something I'm gonna take away for the rest of my life."
Haydar spent four years playing with the Admirals. He's the team's all-time leading AHL scorer.
Friday night's game starts at 7 p.m. at the UWM Panther Arena.
The first 5,000 fans will get a Darren Haydar Calder Cup bobblehead.
