American journalist abducted in Iraq grew up in Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- According to the U.S. State Department's Refugee Processing Center, 472 refugees arrived in Wisconsin in 2018, down 19% from the year before.
A vast majority, around 70% of refugees, settled in Milwaukee.
There are a number of agencies in the area helping resettled refugees become a part of their new community.
CBS 58's Andy Devine takes us to a school that enrolls dozens of immigrant and refugee children each year.
