Milwaukee Department of Public Works warns of QR codes on recycling carts

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) is warning residents of QR codes placed on city recycling carts on Tuesday, July 6.

DPW says they have received reports of stickers with QR codes on recycling carts. 

According to DPW, the stickers are not from the city of Milwaukee.

Officials suggest residents do not access its information.
