MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the second time in about 11 hours, Milwaukee firefighters responded to a fire in a house at N 6th Street and  W. Abert Place.

Around 9:30 Sunday morning firefighters returned to the wood frame building when the fire was found in the loft of the two-story structure.

MFD officials believe the fire rekindled from embers left over from a fire Saturday night. That fire was reported at 10:30 PM.

No one was home at the time of the second fire.

An estimate of the total damage is not available and the cause of the original fire is still under investigation.
