(MILWAUKEE) It’s a food fight worth waging for the sake of today's children and future generations. Through storytelling, local author and activist Rayna Andrews is focused on solving health disparities by teaching young people about the connection between their health, food and community.
Andrews has authored a new childrens book on the subject, Alex McGreen and the Tale of the Mysterious Kale. It’s the story of how a ten-year-old girl saves her fifth grade science class with kale.
