Milwaukee native Ernie Johnson inducted into Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee native Ernie Johnson Jr. will soon be inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Johnson was born in Milwaukee back in 1956 and would become the charismatic host of TNT's "Inside the NBA."

It's a job he's held for the past 33 years. During that time, he's won six sports Emmy awards as studio host.

The show itself has won 17 sports Emmy's, in large part due to Johnson and the chemistry he and his analysts have together.

The ceremony takes place Tuesday night.

Congratulations!
