MPD searching for suspects, vehicle involved in fatal shooting near 16th and Bruce

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public’s help in finding a car and suspects wanted in a fatal shooting of Carlos Cruz that happened on Sunday, Aug. 20, at around 9:40 p.m. near 16th and Bruce.
The suspect car is described as a 2020-2023 white Toyota Highlander SUV with damage on the driver's side door and rear driver's side quarter panel.
The car fired several shots eventually striking Cruz and drove off.
Cruz died from his injuries.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 56-year-old man was fatally shot near 16th and Bruce Streets late Sunday, Aug. 20.
Police say it happened around 9:45 p.m.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Carlos Cruz.
Officials are searching for unknown suspects.
