Milwaukee police investigating shootings that left 3 seriously injured

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that left three people seriously injured.

Police say on Thursday, April 8, two men, ages 30 and 35, were seriously injured in a shooting near 11th and Meinecke. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment and are said to be in stable condition. Officials say the shooting was the result of a robbery that occurred around 10:07 p.m.

On Friday morning, April 9, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was seriously injured in a shooting near 49th and Chambers. He was taken to a local hospital where he is in stable condition. The circumstances leading up to this shooting remain under investigation.
