Milwaukee Police Trying to Determine if Death on Train Tracks was Homicide

Milwaukee Police is investigating whether a sudden death on train tracks was a homicide.
The death occurred on September 4.
The deceased, Jason T. Carroll was found on the train tracks at about 160 West Seeboth Street.
MPD attempted to obtain video from the Canadian Pacific Railway that captured this incident.
They denied the request and a subpoena was filed to obtain the video.
It is MPD’s belief that obtaining the video will assist in determining if this was an accidental death or a homicide.  No one has claimed responsibility for this incident and MPD is not working with other law enforcement agencies on the case.  The investigation is ongoing.
