Milwaukee teen charged in shooting deaths of 15-year-old boys, warrant issued for his arrest

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old boy has been charged in connection to a shooting that left two 15-year-old boys dead.

A warrant has been issued to find Christopher Scott.

Scott, according to a criminal complaint, is facing two counts of first-degree reckless homicide, as party to a crime and one count of armed robbery.

Investigators say surveillance video and witnesses helped identify Scott as the shooter.

The shooting happened just after 10:30 Saturday night, May 18 on Milwaukee's south side -- near 14th and Halsey.

The victims were identified as Monroe Weso and Alejandro Sanchez.

According to the criminal complaint, Scott was at a sleepover with two others the night of the shooting, including a 13-year-old boy who police have since arrested. The complaint says Scott showed his friends a gun he brought and said he wanted to rob someone.

The complaint says, Scott told his friends the gun was a "ghost gun" from Minnesota that he stole from his cousin. The gun reportedly had  along magazine that stuck out of the gun.

Authorities interviewed the 13-year-old suspect, who told investigators Scott had them go with him to the robbery, but he was never supposed to shoot anyone.

The 13-year-old allegedly told officials, during the robbery Scott started tussling with one of the victims and then shot them.

The 13-year-old reportedly said he witnessed Scott shoot both Weso and Sanchez.

Following the robbery, the complaint says the suspects "bleached him [Scott] down." The 13-year-old explained, according to the complaint, Scott got naked and had a quart of bleach poured all over him.

Investigators obtained surveillance video of the shooting, and according to the complaint, Scott's own mother identified him in the video.
