Milwaukee VA to screen everyone who enters hospital, clinics for COVID-19

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center announced Wednesday, March 11 everyone who enters the hospital and clinics will be pre-screened for COVID-19.

The Milwaukee VA said veterans and visitors will only be allowed to enter the hospital through the east and south entrances. No visitors will be allowed Community Living Center nursing homes or Spinal Cord Injury Center.

Employees will have to show their badges for entry.

The screening process may lengthen entry times, so the Milwaukee VA advises patients to allow for that when arriving for appointments.

Veterans and visitors will also be screened at our Green Bay, Appleton and Union Grove Clinics.
