MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Pridefest has been canceled over coronavirus concerns. 

The announcement was made in a Facebook post.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Pride is postponing the annual Pridefest due to COVID-19.

According to a news release, Pridefest was scheduled to be held June 4-7, 2020 at Henry Maier Festival Park. Milwaukee Pride said it is looking for alternative dates, but is keeping the safety and security of attendees and community partners as the first priority.

Pridefest is Wisconsin's largest LGBTQ+ festival.
