MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As the temperatures in-and-around Milwaukee continue to quickly cool down, now is a timely reminder that there is plenty to do inside at the Pabst Mansion, especially for those in a festive spirit.
Mame McCully, Pabst Mansion's Executive Director joined us Tuesday, Sept 27 to discuss the Pabst Illuminating the Dark Tours and Christmas at the Pabst.
Illuminating the Dark allows visitors to explore a spooky side of the Pabst Mansion by candlelight, with the theme being the darkness throughout the house. There will be hidden compartments and access to corners of the basement that cater to the macabre October season.
For those who already have visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, Christmas at the Pabst Mansion is already in the works. The annual event begins on Nov. 17 and includes daily tours, twilight tours, visits with Father Christmas and more.
The Illuminating the Dark Tours take place from Oct. 6 - 31, on Thurs. evenings from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the times will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Halloween has its own time, being open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Christmas at the Pabst will be available daily from Nov. 17 until Jan. 8.
More information about tours of the Pabst Mansion can be found on their website.
