Change comes to Milwaukee's skyline with installation of 3rd Street Market Hall rooftop sign

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you haven't visited downtown Milwaukee for a while, you may be surprised at how different some parts look.

There was a pretty big change installed Tuesday, June 1.

Workers installed a new rooftop sign for the 3rd Street Market Hall. 

If you look closely, you'll notice that it's the old Grand Avenue Mall, now in the middle of a major reinvention.

Work will continue on the sign for two more days. 

The 3rd Street Market will include ethnic and casual food spots, craft beer and cocktails. 

Watch for it to open late this summer.
