MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you've tried Brewers star Robin Yount's last name in Wordle before and were disappointed it wasn't in the game's dictionary, we have some good news for you.
The folks over at OnMilwaukee have a version of Wordle that is all about Milwaukee called "MilWordle."
They say Milwaukee-centric words, places, and people are all on the table.
From brats to Brewers' star player names, the creators say it's a fun -- but sometimes difficult -- way to learn about Milwaukee history.
"You know it's one of those things that's just a fun little thing we can do because we build all of our own software, and the fact that Milwaukee and Wordle kind of combined to become 'MilWordle' was like yeah, we gotta do this," said OnMilwaukee President Andy Tarnoff.
He says over 6,000 people have played, all spreading by word of mouth.
Tarnoff said they're always up for suggestions for new Milwaukee-related words.
