(CBS 58) -- The Kettle Moraine Ballast Scorchers hold their 24th annual Model Train Show and Swap Meet on Sunday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washington County Fair Park in West Bend, according to club president Adam Bunkelman, who joined us Wednesday, Oct. 7 to preview the event.
The show, which the club describes as its biggest annual fundraiser, features operating model train layouts of various sizes and more than 90 vendor tables selling new and used railroad items.
Admission is $5, with free entry for children under 12 and military members in uniform or with valid ID. Admission also enters attendees into drawings for door prizes, including model kits and hobby shop gift certificates.
