MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--If there's one day I need to deliver some nice weather, it's Mother's Day. And thank goodness, it's happening. We won't see the 80s like last Mother's Day. But at least temps are seasonable with readings in the 60s lakeside and in the 70s toward Lake Country. On Monday, you can add about ten degrees to the numbers. I still see two opportunities for rain showers and thunder. Tuesday and later Thursday respectively. Then we appear to dry out and cool off for next weekend with highs only in the 50s and 60s.
I said this on air today. Start getting in the habit of putting on sunscreen. The sun angle is getting higher and stronger. So even if it's only in the 60s, the rays are becoming intense. Practice makes perfect.
Not the warmth of last Mother's Day but still very nice...
