MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A man is dead after crashing into a tree early Thursday morning, according to Milwaukee Police.
Authorities say the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. near Howard and Whitnall. The investigation is ongoing but police believe the driver and sole occupant of the car lost control and hit a tree. No other cars were involved in the crash.
Police believe speed may have been a factor in the incident.
The driver died at the scene.
