Milwaukee police search for suspect involved in bank robbery

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a robbery of a bank on Saturday, May 25.

It happened near 27th and Ohio around 9:13 a.m. 

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately in his 30's. Police say he was wearing a black zip up hooded sweatshirt with "Chicago" written across the front, thick work pants with reflective fabric around the ankles and waist, black boots, and a white baseball hat. 

The suspect was wearing a white facemask and was carrying a plastic bag. 

Police say the suspect took currency at gunpoint and fled on foot into the northbound alley.
