MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Home security video shows the moment several people pulled out guns and started rapid firing in a man's driveway near Brady Street in Milwaukee.

"I mean, my description was wild wild west," said the owner of the home where the incident happened, who wants to remain anonymous.

Neighbors along Pearson Street, where the shootout happened, say it sounded and looked like a war zone here Sunday night.

Dozens of gunshots went off in a matter of seconds, with people using a man's driveway as a hideout.

"There was bullets on the ground, and like an empty magazine and empty shells on my stairs," said the homeowner.

He says the scene caught on his camera was not what he was expecting when he heard noises outside.

"I mean, it looked like an episode of CSI, basically," said the homeowner. "I didn’t expect to see that."

The video shows several people pull out guns and fire, damaging several homes and cars parked outside.

"Not happy with it," said the homeowner. "Definitely need some change. Kids need something to do other than shooting up neighborhoods."

Kylee Pierson, who just moved to Milwaukee nearly a week ago, says she was shocked when she found her car with several bullet holes in it.

"Definitely jarring, I will say that," said Pierson. "I think it definitely shines a light on things we need to address in Milwaukee and beyond."

The Milwaukee Police Department says no one was injured and they are actively looking for the unknown suspects involved.

Neighbors in the area say they want to see more patrols and violence prevention in the area.

"I think there needs to be better interventions, better support, and also just there needs to be some form of gun laws so they are less accessible," said Pierson.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Milwaukee police at (414) 935-7232, or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-TIPS or through the P3 Tips app.
