MILWAUKEE (CBS58) --The latest Marquette Law School poll found that Wisconsin is fitting its "swing state" title when it comes to next year's election.
A survey on registered voters, shows President Biden is the choice of Wisconsin voters by a narrow 50-to-48% margin.
That's if Biden faces Donald trump next year. If the race is between Biden and Florida governor, Ron DeSantis, the numbers swing to the other side with a 48-to-50% margin.
If former South Carolina governor, Nikki Haley is Biden's challenger, she was found to be the pick in Wisconsin by an even wider margin, holding a lead of 53% to President Bidens 44%.
Dr. Charles Franklin, Poll Director of Marquette Law School, shared, “when Haley is the option, independents go to her some weak democrats go over to her, but when it’s paired with Trump or Desantis, those independents are much more evenly divided and much more reluctant for those weak partisans to cross over for the other party.”
