Multiple MPS schools closed Friday after receiving bomb threat

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police have confirmed a person made a bomb threat early Friday, April 5, to several schools in the area.
MPD says the threat was called in just before 6 a.m. near North and 52nd, leading to a Friday closure of three schools: Milwaukee French Immersion School, Groppi High School and Hi-Mount Community School.
The impacted schools were searched, and nothing was found, but they are looking for an unknown suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Three Milwaukee Public Schools will be closed on Friday, April 5 while an investigation takes place regarding "a threatening message was received."
The three schools are Milwaukee French Immersion School, Groppi High School and Hi-Mount Community School.
In a statement from MPS, they noted, "The safety of our students and staff is our top priority."
