MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — New video shows the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) responding to flooded highways across the city last week.
First responders dealt with stalled cars, traffic issues, and rising water.
In a week full of severe weather, Wednesday night brought one of the most incredible sights: flooded out streets around American Family Field.
Body camera footage from the night of April 15 shows deputies wading through thigh-high floodwaters to check on several cars stuck on Highway 175 near Frederick Miller Way.
One driver stood on top of his car to avoid the water.
Deputies joined firefighters using brooms and shovels to clear out blocked sewer drains.
Other videos show several cars stuck on Highway 43 south, near Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood.
