MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities have determined no charges will be filed in a shooting at Center Street Park that left a 22-year-old man dead. 

The shooting happened Saturday, May 30; Pepe Sikisi-Belle Jr. was killed. 

Family told CBS 58, an argument broke out during a birthday party for Sikisi-Belle Jr.'s 4-year-old son when he was shot. The family says the woman who allegedly shot Sikisi-Belle Jr. was once considered a close family friend. 

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office said Thursday, June 4, they have completed the review of the case and determined due to issues associated with self-defense, no criminal charges will be filed. 

Family tells CBS 58 they are upset with the latest development in the case and feel charges need to filed to find justice.
