OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A plea tonight from Oak Creek police to be on the lookout for a man, believed to be living out of his SUV with four dogs.

Police say the dogs viciously attacked a dog walker, killing two small dogs on Thursday, Nov. 30, around 4:00 p.m.

The killer dogs were at this Kickers Creek Park along busy Highway 32 with their owner. The gate was open, and they were running loose in this soccer field, though the city only allows dogs on leashes on property.

Police bodycam captured the heart-breaking scene.

"I'm a neighbor. I was walking the dogs and I got bit," said Jill Barbian.

Linda the Chihuahua died in a neighbor's arms, as witnesses told police the attacking dogs jumped into this SUV right after the attack. Police now putting that vehicle's picture, a 2011 Mazda CX7 and license plate on Facebook. The license plate is AGX 3478.

"It was a big Shepherd. There were three of them. I thought it was a pack of wolves, yeah, like they looked so brutal and then I just, I screamed, and I ran," one witness told police.

Sophie the Terrier mix suffered major internal injuries. She got to go home to her human mom after a $4,500 surgery but died a day later.

"She was the most beautiful girl in the world. They was my life," said Nelsy Torres, Linda and Sophie's owner.

It's been a tough year and a half for Nelsy Torres who was diagnosed with liver cancer. Surgery six months ago went well, but the cancer came back, and she'll be starting radiation this Friday without her devoted girls.

"They know when I was sick. They always sit down in my lap," said Torres.

We met Sophie Saturday night. Torres says it was a sleepless one. Sophie took a turn for the worse and it was another emergency trip to the vet.

"As soon as we get there, the doctor tell us, she's dying. There's nothing that we can do for her, but I was hoping that she can survive. I was hoping. I was praying God, I said don’t let her go," said Torres.
