Officials: Family displaced after Germantown garage fire

GERMANTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Germantown officials say a family is displaced following a garage fire on Tuesday, June 8.
Officials say the fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. near Bel Aire and Lincoln. Upon arrival, Germantown police officers found a two-story home with heavy fire in the garage that was spreading to the rest of the home.
All of the occupants were able to escape the home unharmed. Officers evacuated neighboring residences.
The fire was brought under control in 50 minutes.
Officials say damage to the home and its contents is estimated at $350,000.
The family was assisted by neighbors and will be displaced from the home, police say.
Officials say the cause of the fire is not suspicious.
