Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee is back with a few tricks and treats downtown
REO Speedwagon rocked the crowd at Summerfest Thursday night. Ahead of the show CBS 58’s Kate Chappell had the chance to sit down with lead singer Kevin Cronin who told her the band is thrilled to be back in Milwaukee.
"It's just an amazing place. It's an amazing event. There's nothing like it anywhere in the world, I’ll tell you that. It's just a musical wonderland. Summerfest has been just such a huge supporter of REO Speedwagon over the years. Like I say, it just feels like home to us,” said Cronin.
Cronin’s wife is from Racine so he planned to stick around after the show.
Thursday was the first time Cronin discovered the Third Ward and said he was “very impressed.”
We also asked if he planned to try any of the crazy food at Summerfest. That was a no but he did say he will drink some Wisconsin beer and is taking a brewery tour Friday.
