LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Valentine's Day is just 11 days away, and after a toned-down pandemic holiday in 2021, one local resort is offering some over-the-top options for those looking to impress.

CBS 58's Jessob Reisbeck wanted to check out what they meant and just how much it would cost to make that grand gesture, so he visited the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa to find out.

The chocolate bombs with exploding marshmallows and cocoa powder are just part of the show at Grand Geneva this Valentine's Day.

The resort is betting on a return to grand gestures this year, thinking there might just be people willing to go all out to impress their special someone.

"We just think people today need an escape. They gotta go find something, they're looking for experiences."

Steve Magnuson and his team at the resort want to provide a Valentine's experience like few others.

"So they have this money to spend and they can either go buy things or they can buy an experience, and they're looking for an experience to do," said Magnuson. "And that's what we try to offer them."

If you have the money to spend, to the tune of $5,500, you can have the experience that they're calling "Love is in the Air."

Here's what the Valentine's package will get you: two nights in their biggest room, the grand suite; a special brunch in your own private igloo, with your own private chef; all-you-can-drink bloody marys and mimosas; money to spend at the resort, and a private helicopter ride high above Lake Geneva.

"We wanted something to really just like -- wow!"

These views can definitely be described as "wow." The helicopter will take you above the lake, over the mansions, on top of the Ice Castles and high above a heart-shaped pond.

Is it necessary? Probably not. But that's not what they're shooting for.

"It's over the top, no question, but who else can have a heart-shaped helicopter ride?"

The "Love is in the Air" experience runs for the entire month of February at Grand Geneva.
