Ozaukee Co. Sheriff's Office points out misspelling in bridge vandalism, looking for information

OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office has a message for those responsible for vandalizing a bridge while also looking for information.

In a Facebook post, the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office shared photos of the vandalism to the Ozaukee Interurban Trail bridge. The post also included two hashtags, #SpellingLessons and #StayInSchool, pointing out what appears to be a misspelling made by the vandals.

The crime was reported on Monday, June 4 and is believed to have happened sometime over the weekend of June 1 through June 3. The bridge crosses the interstate into the Town of Grafton. The Sheriff's Office says it's the second case of Criminal Damage to Property that has occurred to the trail in the last year.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office.
