GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's a big night for Nicolet Union High School. Parents and faculty packed the Glendale school for its grand reopening.
Nicolet now features newly renovated, state of the art classrooms with the latest technology, upgrades to the arts and automotive programs, and even a solar panel array.
Superintendent Greg Kabara says the district's vision for the school was rooted in inclusion, school pride and community partnership.
"We're really proud of the work that's been done to the school, but most proud of the opportunities that we can provide for the students, staff and community," said Dr. Kabara.
Nicolet's renovation project started with a 2019 building study looking into necessary updates for the school.
Voters approved a $77.4 million referendum back in April of 2022.
