WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In the last week, two parents have filed separate federal lawsuits against the Waukesha School District over the lack of Covid protocols.
They claim both their kids got the virus at school.
The Minocqua Brewing Company Super PAC is helping fund both lawsuits.
The company says masks in schools keep kids safe and keep schools open.
Wednesday night, Oct. 13, one parent spoke out against a mask mandate.
"I want to thank our board for giving our kids a fantastic year this year. Most are choosing not to quarantine and next to no students are wearing masks. The same for teachers. What this tells me is most are happy with the ways things currently are."
"I think it is important that we protect our children. It is important that we have in-school learning, which we can, with Covid mitigation measures. Those can go hand-in-hand."
The Waukesha School District has yet to comment on the lawsuits.
