WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A pavement buckle on I-94 eastbound caused a long traffic backup Tuesday afternoon.

Department of Transportation (DOT) cameras from eastbound I-94 near Calhoun Road show the two left lanes have been closed to keep drivers away from the broken pavement.

At times, the traffic has backed up for four miles.

The DOT says this is more common during a heat wave.
