WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Pet Expo MKE will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Wisconsin State Fair Park. The event will feature a pet food and supply drive and is being held by Alliance of Wisconsin Animal Rehoming Efforts.
It is billed as the largest charitable pet expo in Wisconsin.
Roxz’s Resources & Awareness, Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting pet owners in need, is among the beneficiaries of contributions. The owner, Vicky Van Lare, joined us on Wednesday, Jan. 22 to preview the show and to talk about her organization's mission.
The expo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with live entertainment, kid-friendly activities, adoptable pets and more.
Tickets are available at the door and online, with proceeds supporting animal welfare initiatives. Click here for more information.
