Police: Driver mistakes gas pedal for brake, crashes into nail salon in Waukesha

Waukesha Police Department WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A driver crashed into the front of a nail salon near 25th and St. Paul in Waukesha on Friday, Aug. 7.
Waukesha police were called to the scene just before 11 a.m.
According to police, the 73-year-old driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was on her way to get her nails done and mistook the brake pedal for the gas pedal while parked in front of the salon.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
