Racine man hospitalized after being pulled from water at Pershing Park

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man is hospitalized and on life support, according to the sheriff's office, after being pulled from the water at Pershing Park Tuesday morning, July 7. 

Officials say the 62-year-old man waded into the water at the boat slip and was found unconscious about five minutes later, in water about 3-feet deep. 

He was provided emergency aid and taken to an area hospital.
