RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Don Ricchio is an artist who paints puny paintings and can create a custom piece of art for you. Don released the following information about himself to Racine & Me:
"I am born and raised in Racine, 5th generation working musician. Since a young age, I've always had a love for music and art. For the last 25 years I've been working as a full-time artist. I mostly I've also illustrated books and painted murals. draw and paint historic landmarks of Racine, homes, people and pet portraits. I've painted and drawn over 5000 works that are displayed all over the world in public and private collections. The holidays bring one of my favorite projects by referencing photos of homes and turning them into 2D snow globes. The drawing is all created by hand with pencil and acrylic paint. I call them “Winter Wonderlands”. I can draw these wonderland drawings from any photo regardless of season. Each 8x10 drawing is mat to fit any 11x14 frame. I donate a percentage of all sales in the month of December to the local food bank."
