50th Annual Juneteenth Celebration

It’s time for the 50th Annual Juneteenth Festival! The City of Racine Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services and the Dr. John Bryant Community Center will host a week of events for their big anniversary year. The
event is free and open to the public. Informational booths, activities, performances, basketball games, children’s activities, food, and more will make for an enjoyable 50th celebration for the entire family.

Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth Independence Day or Freedom Day, is a holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865 announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas, and more generally the emancipation of African-American slaves throughout the Confederate South. Please join us!

Loop Day in Downtown Burlington

School is out and Loop Day is back on June 7th!
